Lee Alford
As director of regional sales, based in Atlanta, Lee Alford is responsible for the association market in the state of Georgia and select corporate accounts for Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Lee brings 15 years of direct sales experience including positions with Renaissance, Doubletree and Sonesta Hotels and Resorts. A native of Atlanta, Lee has come back home after serving most recently as director of midwest accounts for Pinehurst Resort and Country Club in North Carolina. Penny Jackson
Penny is the Director of Group Sales and serves as the leader of the Resort’s group sales effort with responsibility for achieving revenue goals as well as guest and employee satisfaction. She is also responsible for recruiting conferences and conventions for association groups based in the state of Alabama. She brings 15 years of hospitality experience including her positions as a sales manager at the Sheraton Perimeter Hotel in Birmingham, AL, and as an Account Executive for AHI Corporate Housing. During her tenure with Sandestin, Penny has filled many roles including assistant director of rental owner relations and liaison between Operations and Development for The Village of Baytowne Wharf. Shelby Schuler
Shelby is responsible for the emerging markets for Sandestin which include the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Illinois and Texas. Prior to joining Sandestin, Schuler was the Regional Sales Manager at the Sandestin Hilton for five years. She also served as Sales Manager for the Ramada Plaza Beach Resort (Ft. Walton Beach, FL) and has held event coordination and catering roles as the Event Services Manager at the Hattiesburg Lake Terrace Convention Center (Hattiesburg, MS), the Director of Convention Services for the Legends at Capitol Hill (Prattville, AL) and Catering Sales Manager at the Wynfrey Hotel, Riverchase Galleria (Birmingham, AL).

Nancy Wilkerson
After 15 years of coastal living in Destin, Nancy relocated to Atlanta during the 1996 Olympics to open a satellite office. Of her 25 years in the hospitality industry, she has been part of the Sandestin team for 15 years where, at some point, has managed most every market segment within the Southeast and Washington D.C. Currently, Nancy is our Director of Regional Sales and responsible for maintaining and developing corporate accounts in Georgia and Alabama.
Formerly, Nancy managed a satellite sales office in Atlanta for Mirage Resorts, Inc., Las Vegas under the ownership of Steve Wynn. She has also held the position as Director of Sales & Marketing for a boutique resort, Barnsley Gardens Resort., owned by Prince Hubertus Fugger. Her diverse background makes her an invaluable resource in planning a successful meeting for your organization.
Nancy has served on the Board of Directors with the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International Georgia Chapter, a past recipient of the Georgia Society of Association Executives Corporate Member of the Year, a member of Meeting Professionals International since 1993, and a current Board of Trustee Member with the Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce.
