(Oct. 19, 2007) –   Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort has been selected by meeting planners across the nation to receive the 2007 Award of Excellence from by Corporate & Incentive Travel magazine. The award recognizes resorts that have best served corporate meetings and/or incentive travel executives/planners during the past year.

This marks the 5th year since 2002 that Sandestin has earned this distinguished industry award. The resort was honored for its quality of service with corporate meetings and incentive events regionally, which includes site inspections and accommodations; providing information about meeting facilities, venues and suppliers; coordinating transportation and pre- and post-tours and activities; and on-site support.

Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort will be presented with the 2007 Award of Excellence on Nov. 10 at Corporate & Incentive Travel’s 23rd annual Awards Ceremony in New York City. Recipients are selected by a poll of the magazine’s readers and meeting planners nationwide.
