Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort Report Record Results
for The 25th Anniversary of The Sandestin Wine Festival
Destin, FL – Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and Sandestin Wine Festival organizers today announced record results for this year’s 25th anniversary event, held this past weekend at the scenic Village of Baytowne Wharf.
The Sandestin Wine Festival is the oldest, continuously running event of its kind in Florida. With the pouring of more than 600 wines at the #1 resort on the Emerald Coast, it is a picture perfect festival complete with more flowing wine, gourmet food and live music.
Sandestin reported record occupancy for a spring weekend, and record sales at the retail wine tent. Event organizers also announced more event tickets were sold and more people were in attendance than any other wine fest in the past 25 years.
Record results were attributed to good weather, the event’s longstanding tradition, group attendance, the number of wines, sponsor participation including Coastal Living Magazine, and special features such as seminars and the Culinary Pavilion.
One of the major benefits of the Sandestin Wine Festival is that attendees have a rare opportunity to learn about the finest appellations from all major producing countries in all varieties, styles and price ranges. Details are available at www.sandestinwinefestival.com.
It was also announced that the 2012 Sandestin Wine Festival will be held on April 26-29, 2012.
