The Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic fishing tournament at Sandestin is the Northwest Florida Gulf Coast’s newest entry onto the world stage of premier marlin tournaments. This $300,000 (based on 75 boats) World Billfish Series-sanctioned event is based on 75 boats and gives serious angling teams their shot at winning a huge pay-off while receiving the royal treatment from the this Destin, Florida fishing event’s hosts and sponsors.

Touting “the highest minimum length for blue marlin” in the Gulf Coast, our Florida fishing tournament will be doing its part to conserve our treasured marine resources by also requiring all-release for white marlin and sailfish. With cash categories for dolphin, tuna, and Wahoo as well as individual angler trophies, fishermen have a multitude of ways to stake their claim on Destin fishing tournament history!

The competing anglers are not the only fishing enthusiasts who will hook a good time during the Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic. A treasure trove of family fun includes live entertainment and activities for the kids all weekend long. This momentous event takes place at the Baytowne Marina and The Village of Baytowne Wharf.
