Many applicants interested in employment in our Destin, Florida resort inquire about Staff Housing. It is only available to a limited number of Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort employees, primarily those who have secured these jobs in Destin, Florida and who are in need of seasonal, short-term, or emergency housing.

Primary consideration will be given to our international team members who are staffed on our most critical departments. The remaining amount of housing will be distributed to other departments upon request and based on their staffing needs. Unfortunately, with these limitations and priorities, we are unable to offer Staff Housing accommodations to every person applying for Sandestin’s jobs in Destin, FL.

To be considered for Staff Housing, all candidates are required to complete the employment application and interview process prior to the extension of a housing offer. This offer is made at the discretion of a hiring manager and it is based on availability. If you are planning to request Staff Housing accommodations, please be sure to express this clearly when you are being interviewed. The hiring manager will then be able to take the proper steps to attempt to secure housing for you so long as that has been deemed an appropriate course of action. If you are extended an offer of employment and it includes the Staff Housing benefit, it will be accompanied by more specific details, including Housing Rules and Regulations.

Staff Housing eligibility includes that the applicant be a minimum of 18 years of age. These accommodation units consist of single or double (bunk bed) bedrooms, shared bathrooms, and a common living area/ kitchen. Co-ed housing units are not available. Each unit is fully furnished and includes linens, dishes, and cooking utensils. Basic utilities are included the daily rent rate and this encompasses electric, basic cable, water/sewer, and garbage.
