Celebration Fishing Tournament
Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort will be the home of the Sandestin Celebration Fishing Tournament this August 25-29. This new tournament celebrates the favorable conditions in the Gulf of Mexico and will bring the fishing and boating community together to show the world that Florida’s Emerald Coast is open for tourism and fishing.

The Ultimate Fishing Tournament
The Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic fishing tournament at Sandestin is the Northwest Florida Gulf Coast’s newest entry onto the world stage of premier marlin tournaments. This $300,000 (based on 75 boats) World Billfish Series-sanctioned event is based on 75 boats and gives serious angling teams their shot at winning a huge pay-off while receiving the royal treatment from the this Destin, Florida fishing event’s hosts and sponsors.

25th Annual Sandestin Triathlon
On August 20, 2011 the 25th Annual Destin Triathlon (formerly the Elephant Walk Triathlon) will lure 700 participants for a half-mile Gulf of Mexico swim, a 20-mile bike along the coast, and a 4-mile run through Sandestin’s beach and Bayside community.
