On August 24, 2013, the 27th Annual Sandestin Triathlon Race (formerly the Elephant Walk Triathlon) will lure 700 participants for a half-mile Gulf of Mexico swim, a 20-mile bike along the coast, and a 4-mile run through Sandestin's beachside and bayside communities. 5:00 am Body Marking & Transition Area Opens in Elephant Walk Restaurant parking lot
5:30 am Packet Pick-up
6:15 am Transition area closes
6:30 am Race Start on the Beach 1/2 mile west of Elephant Walk Restaurant
10:30 am Post Race Party: Beachside at the Elephant Walk Restaurant Pool Deck
