The Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic at Sandestin is Northwest Florida’s most successful entry into world-class sport-fishing tournaments. The tournament remains one of the richest on the Gulf Coast attracting major players from across the globe. 2016 saw several broken tournament records with the most impressive being the new tournament record prize purse, and Gulf Coast record, which sat just north of $1.95 million.
