As Director of Reservations and Rentals, Dawn Smith leads with a hands-on approach—working alongside her team while always ready to step up and guide when needed. She takes pride in understanding every detail of her department’s work so she can support her team effectively and jump in wherever she’s needed.

Outside the office, Dawn enjoys traveling, baking, canning, hiking, antiquing, and spending time in her garden. She’s also highly involved in her community, serving as president of two homeowners associations and as a board member for five others.

Her favorite part of working at Sandestin is the strong sense of community. She loves the unique blend of neighborhoods and enjoys connecting with property owners and guests across the resort.

A fun and unexpected fact: Dawn collects Avocado Green and Carnival Blue Indiana glass, as well as antique glass cake stands.
