Jason Draughn

Executive Director of Activities

As Executive Director of Activities, Jason Draughn brings a proactive and pragmatic leadership style to Sandestin—working alongside his team, encouraging creative problem-solving, and focusing on practical, results-driven solutions. He leads by example and values a common-sense approach that gets things done.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys beach days with his family, restoring old trucks and bikes, and spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and scuba diving. Deeply committed to giving back, he has served over a decade as a licensed foster parent in Walton County and continues to support organizations like Be Generous, the Sandestin Foundation for Kids, and the South Walton Football Touchdown Club. He also serves on the ARB board for Driftwood Estates.

With a wide range of certifications—from scuba diving and CPR to boat and hunter safety—Jason’s background is as diverse as it is hands-on. A fun fact: he’s also an ordained minister and licensed wedding officiant in the state of Florida.
