With 25 years in hospitality and nearly 15 years in marketing, Melissa Watson brings a powerful blend of industry insight, strategic thinking, and creativity to her role as Executive Director of Marketing and Revenue Management. She leads the marketing and revenue strategies for Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, Hotel Effie, and Sandestin Real Estate, overseeing budgets, forecasts, and day-to-day marketing efforts across multiple business units.

Melissa is known for her data-driven approach and passion for building high-performing, collaborative teams. Her career includes leadership roles with Hilton Sandestin, Wyndham Vacation Rentals, Vacasa, and Saltwater Restaurant Group.

An active community member, Melissa has served on numerous local boards, including the Emerald Coast Autism Center and Okaloosa County TDC. Her achievements have earned her multiple awards, including Wyndham’s Manager of the Year and Sandestin’s President’s Award. She continues to lead with a deep belief in the power of hospitality and meaningful marketing.
