Ron Hardin

Director of Information Technology

Ron Hardin leads the IT department at Sandestin with a simple but powerful philosophy: lead by example. With a strong foundation in both hospitality and technology, he brings a collaborative approach to problem-solving and thrives on working alongside a diverse and experienced team.

Before stepping into the tech world, Ron began his hospitality journey as a restaurant cook and originally pursued hotel school to become a professional foodie. One summer job as a research assistant for the tech faculty changed everything—and he’s been in hospitality IT ever since.

Outside of work, Ron enjoys spending time with his family, gaming, and woodworking. He’s also an active member of Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP).
