From theme nights to choreographed light shows, here’s a breakdown of all the summer events at Sandestin you won’t want to miss!
Summer Events & Activities at Sandestin Resort
Aside from our annual summer events, we offer a rotating lineup of family-friendly activities that change each month, giving guests a fresh mix of fun, interactive experiences each week!
- Hangout on the Greens: Middle and high school students always enjoy this supervised teen night with unlimited mini golf, music, and friendly competition under the lights.
- Bingo Night, Rooftop Heights: Head to Ara Rooftop Pool & Lounge for bingo with a view, cocktails, great bites, and prizes each round.
- Boomin’ Tuesday: Enjoy singing and dancing at the Events Plaza, then stick around as fireworks burst in colorful displays above the lagoon.
- Wednesday Night Concert Series: Bring your lawn chairs and catch local and regional bands on the Baytowne stage.
- Thursdaze Light Show: Watch as drones light up the night sky, forming glowing beach-inspired scenes high above Baytowne Wharf.
- Poolside Play Days: Kids enjoy character visits, magic, and interactive entertainment on the Beach House pool deck, while parents kick back and take in the view.
- Scallywag Sunday: Join pirate Captain Davy for a swashbuckling evening of magic, music, and pirate fun at Baytowne Wharf.

Memorial Day Weekend: The Summer Kickoff
If you’re like us, you’ve been waiting for Memorial weekend all year, and Sandestin does not disappoint. The Village of Baytowne Wharf sets the stage with their Memorial Day Celebration, featuring live music, kids' activities, and fireworks over the water.
June Events at Sandestin
June heats up on the Emerald Coast with sunny skies and warm temps, and the fun events continue throughout the month. The Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic brings anglers and spectators together at Baytowne Marina for one of the largest sportfishing events on the Gulf Coast. Excitement builds as boats return with their catch for the weigh-ins, while the marina comes alive with food, music, and fishing fun!!
July Events: Peak Summer Fun
July cranks things up a notch with a sizzling lineup of events, including Stars, Stripes, and Bites on the Grand Lawn, Bayside BBQ at Marina Bar & Grill, the Baytowne Wharf Fourth of July Celebration, and Red, White, and Blue Baytowne, a fun-filled day of face painting, kids' crafts, balloon sculpting, and an incredible fireworks show to cap off the evening!
August Events: Late Summer Vibes
August brings a more relaxed pace at Sandestin while keeping the family fun alive. While some of our weekly programming wraps up mid-month, other activities continue into the fall. With fewer crowds and a full lineup of entertainment still on the calendar, it’s the perfect time to enjoy everything Sandestin has to offer.
Labor Day Weekend: Summer Finale
Send the summer off in style at the Perfect Hues: Baytowne Wharf Art Fest, showcasing local and regional artwork, live music, and a fireworks display. The festivities continue throughout our Labor Day Weekend celebrations, with even more activities and events!
