From June 19–23, 2025, the Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic (ECBC) returns to Baytowne Marina at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest events of the season.

Now in its 22nd year, the ECBC is one of the most prestigious sportfishing tournaments in the world. Drawing elite teams and seasoned anglers from across the Gulf and beyond, this event is more than just a competition—it’s a celebration of coastal culture, community, and adventure. Tournament Week Overview:

• Wednesday, June 18: Teams arrive and register, with the excitement kicking off early at the ECBC Golf Scramble at The Links Golf Club.
  
   
• Thursday, June 19: At noon, the real action begins—Lines In marks the official start as boats leave the marina in search of big game offshore.
  
   
• Friday, June 20 – Saturday, June 21: Offshore fishing continues as the resort buzzes with energy. Enjoy live music at The Village of Baytowne Wharf, shop local vendors, and explore everything from dockside dining to beachside relaxation.
  
   
• Saturday, June 21 (4–9 PM): The Weigh-In is the event’s main attraction—massive marlin, tuna, and mahi are hauled in as spectators cheer on from the docks.
  
   
• Sunday, June 23: Winners are celebrated during the Awards Brunch, closing out another unforgettable week.
